IMPORTANT NOTICE - LBP CONNECT TRADE SHOW AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Lancing Business Park Business Improvement District (BID) gives notice of the LBP Connect - Trade Show and Annual General Meeting
Date: Wednesday 6th May 2026
Time: 3pm until 5pm
Venue: Paula Rosa Manhattan, Marlborough Road
Businesses on Lancing Business Park, our Sponsors and Partner Organisations are invited to attend the LBP Connect - Trade Show and LBP AGM.
This year we are piloting a Trade Show designed to encourage more Inter-Park Trading across the park to help support businesses to connect and grow. LBP has 250 businesses on the park and LBP Sponsors offering a wide range of products and services. The vibrant LBP business community works well together, and this will be the perfect FREE opportunity to expand business contacts and show other businesses what you have to offer, whilst trading locally and helping to reduce your carbon footprint.
We are fortunate that Paula Rosa Manhattan has very kindly offered to host this event at their impressive site in Marlborough Road.
As a pilot event, we will be keeping this event as informal as possible, so there is nothing to be apprehensive about, no public speaking, just casual chats as people walk around the show. All you need to do is register your FREE space and then come along for 3pm on the 6th May, ready to talk about what your company has to offer. Have you ever seen a business name on the park and wondered what they do, then this is a way of finding out and meeting them in person.
You're welcome to bring along your company pull-up banner if you have one and any marketing information you would like to share.
LBP will be providing refreshments and will have information available to update everyone on LBP's progress and plans. We will be holding a brief AGM at the end of the afternoon, to ensure all attendees can raise any questions they have about the BID and vote in the BID Team.
The more businesses that book, the more chance this event will really make a difference, so please register your free place asap and we look forward to seeing you there.
AGM Info:
The AGM is an open meeting, however only members (companies based on the business park) are allowed to vote on motions and there is a strict ruling of one vote per member. The AGM will be run in accordance with BID best policy and will elect the Members of the Advisory Committee for the forthcoming year.
The Lancing BID team will comprise of one member of staff (BID Manager) who will be responsible for delivering the aims, projects and aspirations of LBP. The BID Manager reports to the LBP Advisory Committee (up to a maximum of 15 members) the composition of the Advisory Committee will include businesses paying the BID levy and non-voting representatives from advisory organisations:
• The Directors
• Member Representatives from across the business park
• Members from Adur & Worthing Councils and Worthing & Adur Chamber of Commerce
• The BID Manager
Applications are invited for any person wishing to stand for election as a Member of the Advisory Group. A notice signed by a Member qualified to vote at the Annual General Meeting should be sent to Lancing Business Park Ltd via email to suzy@lancingbusinesspark.co.uk. The notice must state their intention to propose their nomination for appointment and must be accompanied by a notice signed by the nominee of his/her willingness to be appointed. The closing date for receipt of nominations is Wednesday 29th April 2026.
