What is meant by innovation?
It’s not all about new technology!
Innovation is the practical implementation of ideas that can result in the introduction of new goods, services or improvements in offering goods or services. This can be new processes or a new ways of doing business (business models). Innovation can look at cost, time or resource efficiency and should create value for your business and your customers making you more competitive and sustainable.
RISE support small and medium-sized businesses with all stages of innovation projects, from formulating a new idea, helping to develop proof of concept of the idea, prototype testing, research into market and competitor analysis, designing technical roadmaps, feasibility studies, reviewing and optimising operations and so much more.
In this webinar you will get to virtually meet the RISE Innovation Advisors and learn how Universities can support businesses with innovation through this free to access project. We will share how to book up a free ‘Innovation Audit’ and how to access up to £5000 of bespoke funding to unlock expertise from either Brighton or Sussex University to work directly on your innovation projects. This programme provides the equivalent of up to £7,500 of free support.
RISE will also explain how to get the most out of the RISE portal, with our knowledge section full of webinars & toolkits and how to best use connect to link with like-minded innovators.
