Russell New hosts second 'Trustees Week'
The end of this month sees the second ‘Trustees Week’ and we will again be helping our charity clients and contacts with their Trustee recruitment.
If you are curious about the role of a charity trustee or wish to consider becoming one – why not come along to our relaxed wine reception to find out more.
Our event is taking place at our offices in The Courtyard at 4.30pm on 3 November. The idea of the evening is for you to hear a short presentation on the role of trustees and then to meet a few charities who are currently recruiting Trustees.
Each of the charities present will speak for five minutes to give you an idea of their work and if you are interested to learn more, without obligation, or possibly to volunteer your services as a trustee, there will be ample opportunity to chat while we serve wine and canapés for an hour or so after the presentations. We anticipate that the reception will end around 7.30 pm.
Charities currently attending cover a wide range of activities, helping young people with difficulties community interpreting, translation and communication services, helping children in Africa, community training, residential and nursing care for older people, supporting the resettlement offender in the community and an independent school. Although these charities may not be based locally to you, provided you are comfortable with the location for travel to trustee meetings, you do not necessarily need to reside here yourself.
We very much hope that you will consider joining us. You are welcome to bring a guest or to pass this invitation on to any of your friends and family who may be interested to learn more about becoming a Trustee.
